A Married Man Summary:
The novel tells the story of a woman who has been widowed recently and she lives with her sons. She is a single mom living in London with a minimum income and trying to make ends meet. She is still not over her husband and is looking for a way out. She gets the opportunity to move out of the country and she thinks it is the best way to get a better life for her sons and to be a part of the dating pool. The offer is made by her mother in law who has arranged a barn for the woman, Lucy, and her two sons. She claims that she wants to help with her grandchildren’s schooling. Lucy thinks this is a good financial option for her but she also tries to ensure that her mother in law does not get very controlling in her private matters. Moving to that place also brings about a romance that is not quite moral. Lucy is attracted to a man named Charlie, who is already married.
A Married Man Review:
This book is quite a light read and is it will make you feel things and also will give you giggles at the same time. All the characters in the book are quite amusing in their own way, for example, the sons who would speak up to their mothers in a manner a bit to articulate for kids their age. Overall, it is a fun read.
